Grayshaw and Yeo Gardening Company takes pride in creating beautiful borders that will continue to improve each year. Our planting expertise can be utilised to establish a truly inspiring garden. We can work with initial colour suggestions or exacting plant requirements. We use the best local suppliers for all of our trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. It is our goal to provide you with competitively priced quality plants. All plants are well-watered and bedded-in with the best compost, ensuring a good start to the life of the scheme.

Our sister company, the award winning landscape design studio Inspired Earth Design is an exciting collaboration of unique garden & landscape Designers.

We provide clients with beautifully considered and professionally executed garden designs. Our gardens have a strong sense of place, that relates to the surrounding landscape. Modern clean lines and naturalistic planting is part of our DNA.  We have also produced Gold medal winning gardens for the RHS in both 2023 & 2022 as well as winning the coveted Tudor Rose award.

Many shrubs and plants require pruning and shaping at varying times of the year. Our gardeners are knowledgeable in all areas of pruning enabling them to maximise the flowering, productivity and longevity of your plants. Our gardeners receive training in pruning to refresh their knowledge ensuring that your plants are properly cared for..

We have a specialist in-house planting team who can work to a planting plan and will set out and plant to your designers’ requirements.  Our expert plant knowledge ensures that the plans are read correctly and plants are put in the correct places!  Our team have experience working for many different designers as well as being hand picked to work on our RHS show gardens produced by our Garden Design Company, Inspired Earth Design.

We’ve been recruiting gardeners for over 15 years and know exactly what it takes to find knowledgeable, personable and trustworthy horticultural experts. All of our gardeners are trained to RHS Level 2, or equivalent, as a standard.  We personally interview all of our candidates face to face and look for the passion, plant-knowledge and good old-fashioned practicality that all the best gardeners have.  All our gardeners take part in regular on-going training to support them and ensure their skills are up to date and relevant to their clients.

We take care to match the right gardener with the right garden, ensuring that each placement delivers the skills and experience to bring out the best in your green space – but our commitment to outstanding service doesn’t stop there. We also provide ongoing support to both our clients and gardeners – from advising on border design to in-house training for the gardeners on our books.
