If you’re an experienced and passionate horticulturalist, who craves a supportive team environment, we want to hear from you.

Joining our team is the beginning of a journey of knowledge and creativity and a pathway into the vocation of horticulture within Surrey, Sussex, and Hampshire.

We have an excellent support system within our network of local gardeners and enjoy a fabulous team spirit, even when you are working on your own in a garden. All we ask for is a passion for plants and a willingness to grow knowledge and skill sets. We encourage applications from all those who are considering studying for RHS 2 qualifications, those who have years of experience but no official qualification yet, as well as those who have already gained their RHS L2.

Not all gardeners have the confidence to run their own gardening business or, indeed want to, which is where we step in. If you know how to improve a garden and what jobs should be done throughout the seasons, we can provide the rest! We also provide ongoing training and advice to assist with career progression, and ensure you are confident in all aspects of the tasks required.

We provide our gardeners with a personalised portfolio of clients that suits your skills and interests. We build your portfolio client by client, always giving you the option to choose which ones you’d like to add to your list. Our team are all self-employed, giving you freedom and flexibility and enabling you to add your own private clients to your portfolios as your confidence grows. We simply ask for a commitment of 25 hours a month for Grayshaw & Yeo clients.

We have strong links with the RHS and in collaboration with their ‘New Shoots’ initiative can assist with work experience and mentoring opportunities at RHS Wisley that are short-term and tailored to your requirements. We can also help with accessing funding for gaining further horticultural qualifications.
