Squires Badshot Lea
Squires Badshot Lea is the largest Squires garden centre. It’s located just outside Farnham off the A31. The centre has recently had a complete refurbishment and enjoys an extensive plant area with a vast selection of shrubs, trees, and plants for the garden. There is also a good range of gardening products and furniture, so you’re sure to find everything you need for your garden maintenance.
The garden centre also has a well-regarded restaurant and coffee shop, plus a pets and aquatics centre with the largest selection of fish in the area, and a pottery painting studio.
Haskins Forest Lodge
Haskins Forest Lodge is located outside Farnham on the A325. It’s a large centre with a well-stocked selection of plants and trees, plus gardening accessories and equipment. Staff are friendly and welcoming and there is ample parking on site. The centre also has a café selling breakfasts, hot meals, and light bites.

Waverley Abbey
Waverley Abbey is located just to the south of Farnham. It was the first monastery in Britain founded by the reforming Cistercian religious order, dating back to the 13th century. The grounds contain an impressive and ancient Yew tree, which is thought to be over 500 years old. Waverley Abbey has parking on site and dogs on leads are welcome.
Sculpture Park
One of our favourite places to visit in Farnham is the Sculpture Park. The park contains 650 modern and contemporary sculptures displayed throughout 10 acres of arboretum and water gardens. It includes abstract, animal, bronze, steel and stone sculptures.
Dubbed “Britain’s most atmospheric sculpture park” it’s easy to see why by viewing the YouTube film. Tickets can be booked online. Parking is available on site and there is space for picnics, but there are no refreshments sold on site. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
